From cassava processing to taxation, via labeling, skills and territorial attractiveness, the CCESP brings solutions closer to businesses and gives new impetus to the regional private sector.
In Bouaké, the Public-Private Dialogue takes on a new dimension. From September 7 to 11, 2026, the Executive Secretariat of the State-Private Sector Consultation Committee (CCESP), with the support of PACA-CI, brought together nearly 450 participants around a major objective: to remove the obstacles that hinder the competitiveness of businesses and unleash the economic potential of Gbêkê.
Through the animation of the Local State-Private Sector Consultation Committee (CLCESP) of Bouaké, established since 2020, the CCESP thus confirms its desire to be as close as possible to the realities of economic operators and to make dialogue a real tool for resolving the difficulties of the regional private sector.
Exchanges directly connected to the challenges faced by businesses
The strength of this CLCESP animation mission in Bouaké lies in the diversity and operational nature of the sessions.
The cassava sector was one of the highlights. With the support of the Technology Demonstration and Promotion Center (CDT) and the Ivorian Tropical Technology Company (I2T), stakeholders were made aware of the importance of modernizing equipment, quality, hygiene, packaging, and traceability. This is a major issue for a sector that includes 1,290 producers grouped within the Bouaké Cassava Platform , with already significant production capacity in several neighborhoods of the city.
The labeling of attiéké
, meanwhile, opens up prospects for moving upmarket and conquering new markets, particularly for women entrepreneurs, by strengthening the structure, quality and traceability of the product.
Another lever addressed was taxation as an instrument of competitiveness . Popularizing tax incentives linked to job creation, apprenticeships, and internships helps to bring public programs closer to businesses and encourage their adoption.
Making Bouaké a more attractive territory for businesses
The mission also put local authorities back at the heart of the economic dynamic.
The presentation of opportunities offered by the Gbêkê Regional Council highlighted the considerable potential of the region as well as several initiatives in favor of the economic integration of young people and women, including guarantee mechanisms and support actions for income-generating activities.
The presentation of the 2026-2030 National Development Plan in the Gbêkê region reveals structuring prospects: development of the agro-industrial hub of the Centre, strengthening of the cassava value chain, development of the rice hub of Bouaké, new processing units, strengthening of the industrial zone, development of spaces dedicated to agro-industrial SMEs and VSEs, as well as several major infrastructure and transport projects.
In other words, opportunities exist; but to transform these opportunities into real growth, one condition remains essential: connecting public policies to the concrete needs of businesses. This is precisely the mission of the CLCESP.
